Anthony O’Shaughnessy is a self-taught cook, turned chef, turned cookery teacher, originally from Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

After years of extensive travel and home cooking, Anthony was selected to be a contestant on Series 14 of MasterChef UK (2018). With a repertoire of recipes picked up on his travels, he progressed to the semi-final stages of the competition.

Whilst on MasterChef UK, Anthony presented dishes from some of his favourite regions around the world: the Middle-East, the American Deep South, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe and treasured dishes from his homeland in the North-East of England.

Anthony has a wealth of knowledge and experience in recipe development, cookery demonstrations and teaching. He’s kicked off teaching at Leeds Cookery School with some great Parmo Masterclasses, which have proved very popular with the people of Leeds and beyond!
