Join the Resident Chef at Leeds Cookery School for some Christmas baking! Learn to make an impressive Yule Log, this recipe will be sure to stand you in good stead for the busy festive season.
We’ll be enjoying some mulled wine along with the baking, so come along and enjoy a wonderful winter day out!
Techniques you will learn:
- How to make a Genoise Sponge and how to roll, fill and decorate to make a chocolate Yule Log.
Full recipes including ingredients list and method are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

What you can take home:
There is a tasting session after each class where you have the chance to sample the tutor’s version of each dish. You will take all of your festive goodies home, so don’t forget to bring some sizeable containers to transport your food home in.
Please note that you do not need to bring any equipment or ingredients with you as this will be provided by the cookery school and is included in the cost.
Tea and coffee are provided throughout on all of our classes.
