Join us on this 2 hour session and find out how to make the perfect shortcrust pastry and filling for 2 brilliant quiches. Our Resident Chefs will show you how to expertly make, rest and roll short crust pastry, how to whip up delicious fillings and all the hints and tips you will need to make 2 fantastic quiches!
Techniques you will learn:
- Learn the rubbed in method, how to work with pastry, blind baking.
- How to make a savoury custard filling (2 different fillings).
- Seasonal side salad and delicious dressing.
Full recipes including ingredients and method are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

What you can take home:
There is a tasting session after each class where you have the chance to sample the tutor’s version of the dish.
Please note that you do not need to bring any equipment or ingredients with you as this will be provided by the cookery school and is included in the cost. You will however need to bring a couple of sizeable (minimum 1L) food storage containers to take your food home in.
Tea and coffee are provided throughout on all of our classes.
