Join Tosin Dayo-Oyekole (also known as OSO Cook) for this special all day event – Tosin’s aim is to introduce you to Nigerian food, one dish at a time! You’ll learn some authentic recipes, explore modern ways of presenting the bold and well rounded flavours of West African cuisine and enjoy a fantastic lunch.

Tosin has worked with Glynn Purnell and renowned Irish chef Rachel Allen, as well as appeared on Channel 4’s ‘My Kitchen Rules’.

Techniques you will learn include:

  • As ever this is a hands on class where you will learn lots of hints, tips and tricks.
  • How to prepare and cook four great recipes.
  • Learn how to cook with a range of ingredients including some unusual spices!

Recipes:

Full recipes including ingredients and method are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

  • Plantain with Prawns in Chilli Sauce
  • Grilled Chicken Suya
  • Pepper Stew
  • Coconut Jollof Rice

What you can take home:

You will eat some of the prepared food for lunch and take the rest home.

Please note that you do not need to bring any equipment or ingredients with you as this will be provided by the cookery school and is included in the cost. You will however need to bring a couple of sizeable (minimum 1L) food storage containers to take your food home in.

Lunch is included. Tea and coffee are provided throughout on all of our classes.
