About this experience
Come and join us on this fun, interactive baking session where you and your little one will learn how to make traditional Easter bakes like Hot Cross Buns and, most importantly, you will take home what you bake to enjoy over the Easter weekend.
Choose from one adult with either one or two children from the ticket type. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Techniques you will learn:
- How to make an enriched dough which is the basis of many sweet bakes.
- How to knead, prove, shape and bake two types of Easter bun.
- How to pipe and decorate buns.
Full recipes, including ingredients list and method, are provided so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

- Semlor Buns (Traditional Swedish Fat Tuesday Buns)
What you can take home:
There is a tasting session after each class where you have the chance to sample the tutor’s version of each dish.
Please note that you will need to bring a couple of sizeable (minimum 1L) food storage containers to take your food home in, we will provide all other equipment and ingredients.
We use induction hobs at the cookery school so if you have a pacemaker fitted please get in contact with us when you have booked to let us know so we can adapt our equipment to meet your needs.
Refreshments are provided throughout, on all of our classes.
