About this experience

In this class, Vietnamese born chef Loc will teach you how to create quintessential Vietnamese dishes. Loc's food philosophy is to cook with the freshest ingredients, keep recipes quick and simple and enjoy time with your loved ones - preferably sharing the food you have cooked! 

Techniques you will learn:

  • How to create a fragrant marinade for meat.

  • How to create a spice blend. 

  • How to cook rice & noodles perfectly. 

  • Knife skills.


  • Bun Cha - A famous Hanoi grilled pork and pork pattie noodle salad.

  • Banh Xeo - Vietnamese crispy pancake.

  • Cari Ga - Vietnamese Yellow Chicken Curry. 

Full recipes, including ingredients list and method, are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

What you will take home:

You will create your own dishes to take home and be able to sample the tutor’s version of each dish.

Please note that you will need to bring a couple of sizeable (minimum 1L) food storage containers to take your food home in. We will provide all other equipment and ingredients.

Refreshments are provided throughout, on all of our classes.

We use induction hobs at the cookery school so if you have a pacemaker fitted please get in contact with us when you have booked to let us know so we can adapt our equipment to meet your needs.
