About this experience

In this Valentine’s dinner class our resident chef will show you and your Valentine how to make a delicious two course meal from scratch. Then you can sit back, enjoy a glass of fizz and dine on your culinary creations together. And guess what? You don’t have to do any washing up. Bonus.


Techniques you will learn:

  • Our Resident Chef will show you how to expertly cook a steak to your own personal liking.

  • How to select the perfect steak. Learn about the prime cuts and the different cuts that could save you money.

  • How to double fry chips creating a crispy and fluffy finish.

  • How to create a classic Béarnaise sauce and the techniques to ensure a smooth finish.

  • Learn how to make a cold emulsion salad dressing and get top tips on adjusting and balancing flavours.

  • Learn how to dress your side salad (yes, there is a proper technique to do this!).

  • How to make an intensely flavoured soufflé base.

  • How to make a fluffy white meringue base.

  • How to fold the soufflé ingredients correctly to ensure a good rise.

  • How to line and prepare your soufflé mould.



Full recipes including ingredients and method are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

What you take home:

There is a tasting session after each class where you have the chance to sample the tutor's version of each dish. At the end of the class you will sit down and enjoy the food you have cooked so no need to bring anything.
